The Inspiration

W2 Films celebrates RGB (red, green, blue), the three additive colors in video as the core of its brand expression. We embarked on a project to see how these colors are celebrated in film and gathered a collection of still frames from several movies that have made these colors a prevailing aesthetic in one of their scenes. The result is a stunning, visually uniform expression of mood and tone.

The Inspiration

Amy interned with W2 Films during the summer of 2021 with the ambition to learn. And she was in pursuit of the goal of being accepted into the acclaimed film school at the University of Southern California (USC School of Cinematic Arts). She was accepted and now has her first short film to place on her soon-to-be flush filmography. Amy is a talented filmmaker with a passion for storytelling and an awareness of how stories can make a difference in the world on issues that matter. We’ll spotlight what Amy is doing now, her experience making the film, and her advice for young aspiring filmmakers.

The production industry attracts many people to explore its incredibly rewarding culture of creativity and expression. But like so many other industries that are in high demand, it takes persistence and determination. Miguel has found a way to immerse himself into many circles - from young filmmaker grants to the remarkably distinctive work he’s done with W2 Films, to his current commitment honing his craft at St. Cloud State University’s film and TV program. His talent and likeability have been a hallmark of his budding career and we’re inspired to share his story.
