This full series of primary and social media storytelling content was distributed throughout the year to humanize the brand and allow prospective clients to see the person behind the financial advisor title. Shot in multiple cities, the stories also showcased what was uniquely local about where they lived and worked.

 

 

Lifetouch

School picture day and yearbooks represent a tradition that spans generations. This series of videos - from social media teasers to full story videos and a brand launch video - celebrates the people in front of and behind the Lifetouch camera.


University of Minnesota Medical School

For three years running, every month Star Tribune highlights for their readers how academic medicine benefits Minnesotans in a campaign titled Where Discovery Creates Hope for their client University of Minnesota Medical School. And they’ve partnered with W2 Films to elevate these stories in video form. What we’ve been able to showcase together is inspiring readers and viewers to appreciate the hope that innovation in care can bring.

The ways that 3M innovation improves our lives and the world around us is found in everything from automotive, to healthcare, to safety and security. We’re bringing the innovation of digital filmmaking to bear to show us how. It’s science, applied to life.


FedEx

FedEx is the authority on reliable delivery. These stories of how that purple promise impacts lives and enhances global connectivity is told through a series of videos including thought leadership, brand, and specific delivery services - all produced consistent with the global FedEx brand.

 

 

Sherwin-Williams

The world needs painters. And Sherwin-Williams knows that helping to recruit more painters brings their color brilliance to more homes. This campaign showcases real painters who are making a great career out of something they love doing.


Bell Bank

A bank that gets voted the best place to work has a lot to say about the human side of banking. Star Tribune shares these stories, and they partner with W2 Films to bring them to life in video in a way that celebrates and inspires. And what Bell Bank does to give back and build communities is also worthy of a solid cinematic effort.

 

 

Elkay

Everyone knows Elkay as the brand behind the water fountains found in nearly every airport, school, and public facility. But it’s also one of the largest global manufacturers of residential sinks and faucets. We leveraged the power of simple studio shoots to showcase the range of products and ingenuity, as well as hard working how-to videos for installation and cleaning.


St. Cloud State University

Nothing inspires Minnesota-based filmmakers like a regular trip to a historic Minnesota city like St. Cloud. And seeing how St. Cloud State is redefining higher education gave us all the inspiration we needed. We’re grateful to Star Tribune for engaging us as their production partner to be able to tell these stores.
